In-Person Absentee Voting

Boone County Clerk Kenny Brown announced that in-person absentee voting will begin on Wednesday, April 29th 2015. All in-person absentee voting will take place during normal business hours at the County Clerk’s Burlington location. In addition to the normal business hours, the Burlington office will be open for voting from 9 am to noon on Saturday, May 16th 2015.

State law requires county clerks to start in-person absentee voting at least 12 days before election day but Brown said he and the County Board of Elections feel it is important to give voters as much opportunity as they can to cast their ballot. In-person absentee voting is only for registered voters who will be out of the county on Election Day.
